A Control Panel is a tool employed to manage the content of a hosting account. This includes, but is not limited to, files, e-mail messages, databases, statistics along with other operations carried out with them. The Control Panel offers a web-based interface to handle all of these things and anything else related to the hosting service via different sections in which you can access features through buttons and/or menus. The simpler to use a Control Panel is, the simpler it'll be for you to handle your world-wide web presence in its entirety. In the general case, the CP is the Internet hosting account’s back office, while a separate billing account is used to handle payments and domain name registrations - if the company provides that particular service. Trouble tickets could be handled through the billing account or via a separate system.
